I don’t know if things get better when Slot gets the sack.
But I know when things should get better then something has to change.
So sack Slot, I don’t trust him to get us back on track.
Ok, he won us the PL last season, but that is history, football is a business on a daily basis.

It takes a long time to create a winning team a dominant team with an air of invincibility. But when you achieve that you expect to win and your opponents expect to lose. That gives you a real edge, an advantage that gets bigger with every win. Its a virtuous circle, your team become winners. They are remorseles serial winners. Mentality monsters, psychological giants. We achieved that last year and we won the Premiership

Then we threw it all away. We went on holiday for the last month of the season with the approval of the manager. Losing became acceptable. Losing is habit forming. Now we can’t stop.
Before, when we were winners, if opponents had the audacity to score against us we were offended and responded with ferocity until they were defeated. Now if the opposition scores we crumble, confidence evaporates and we expect to lose.
The root of our current problem is the manager allowing the team to put in unacceptable performances after we clinched the Premiership with a month to spare. The manager sets the standard …which is we must always win every game. Once he accepts anything less the magic spell is broken and he has lost the team.

This reminds me of the season after we won the league with Jurgen. I remember us losing a few after winning the league. And some of those bad vibes continued into the disastrous start in 2020-2021. Yes we got terrible injuries but we also lost the winning mentality. It took us a while to recover that.
But I don’t remember it getting THIS bad. Also there were no fans around to cheer the team on.

I don’t want Slot to be sacked and I don’t want to mention the ‘R’ word, as it’s only November. However, we are in ‘R’ form at the moment and how long should FSG let this continue, before they act? Not qualifying for next season’s Champions League, will seriously piss them off, but we are in free fall in the Premier League at the moment. Addressing that has to be the priority.

Yep, top 5 is gone, unless there’s a a miraculous recovery. I’ll be happy just to regain some decent form, survive and regroup for next season.

Disastrous start to 20/21 i think you have your self muddled up we lost 2 of the first 20 winning 14 after beating Palace 7 nil on 19th December we were 7 points clear.
