Anyone still want that we sent out a weaker side, calculating for the City game and almost throwing this one away because we already have a lot of points?
Brilliant performance in the second half, was a joy to watch. First half was good, but we also left a lot of gaps in midfield. I think Gravenberch and Mac at HT won only 2 duels out of 8 between themselves.
No doubt we were going to take this very seriously and a performance and win like this, even against a weaker Real side, means a lot for our confidence going forward.

That was excellent. MOTM so difficult to pick. I went for Bradley, Keller and Konate, but several others could have easily been in there.
I thought we were the better team all over the park and it was great to see that. A smash and grab win is still a win, but this was so much more. We were into them, playing with a good intensity, pressing like a pack of wolves, while also keeping possession and keeping calm as needed too.
If we can take that performance level into the Man City game on Sunday we will batter them. The crowd were brilliant too. Twelfth man is right.
