There was a write up on the BBC today about it, which concluded, because it went to a penalty VAR, if that fails its goalies ball. Who fcken knows they make it up year on year.
Good one that. Bradley owned Vini. But how rubbish was Mbappe? He was awful.
The slobbering masses are so fucking keen for him to fail…it is quite pathetic.
And equally hilarious.

Nowadays I get excited seeing this in the forum

I’ve never heard anyone pronounce Ekitike like that before. ![]()

I think it’s how it should be pronounced. It’s just the English accent.
That is my favourite picture of that night. ![]()
Anyone who actually watches football can see he’s a player.
Those who watch football as a way to make content are just desperate to have a hot take no matter how dumb they come across.
Or understands football. He is a special talent the same experts will salivate over in a short few weeks.
I didn’t think about it too much personally but Keith Hackett, former Chief of the PGMOL, said the refereeing was bizarre over the handball incident and that he would recommend Liverpool “seek clarification” over the incident.
When I do stop to think it is really odd that the only thing VAR showed him was that the handball was in the box, at which point he changed his mind. Does the referee incorrectly think there is a higher standard for handball in the penalty area than outside it?
The only thing I need to add to that is about the 9 saves Courtois makes, apart from the Szoboszlai and Gakpo saves all the others were straight at him. When heading the ball they have to hit downwards and towards corners, Ekitike tried to do that once but missed the top corner.
When you get that many chances at least 2 of them should have gone in.
Courtois like Alisson is a top GK because of his background in handball where they are used to parry shots fired at full extension a yard away about a hundred times during a full game.
Well done @Livvy that was pretty comprehensive.
He blew for a handball as the ball was about to go out of play for a corner to us. Then it was decided it wasn’t a handball. We didn’t get a corner as he blew before the ball went out but why did he give the ball back to them at the spot the handball was called?
Should it not have been at least a contested drop ball?
Should it not have been at least a contested drop ball?
There are no longer any contested drop balls in the rules, since about 2019

There isn’t supposed to be, but I think we all know there is really.
