Exactly this.
You cannot carry anyone and perform at the top. It is simply impossible.
Bradley is our new superstar. So proud of him. His best is yet to come.
It’s also nice to see some good old fashioned pure defensive efforts from an outside back.
As we know the modern trend is to effectively convert pacey wingers into an attacking wing back. Defensive duties can be secondary but as long as they leg it up and down the sideline managers are happy. CDM and CBs deal with the counters if they are caught high.
Just a brilliant 2 man battle this morning with Bradley winning by KO.
That’s twice he has stepped up v RM now. More to come in the big matches you would think.

I can’t imagine what game these guys were watching but it wasn’t the same one as me.

Unfortunately for Klopp back in 2021-2023, Kroos and Modric were twice the midfielder the likes of Henderson were.
Thinking back that was probably the poorest Madrid performace I can remember. Credit to the lads for that. Gave them nothing but scraps.
Nice to see Bradley put another performance that got us all excited about him in the first place. If we can see 70% of that every week the doubters should shut up.
Work rate just looked better.
Some slight concerns. Salah looked off. I wonder how many times he lost possession?
I’m fascinated by our defensive shape too. Not one I’ve seen before.

Great performance from all last night.
Just hope Bradley can play like that every week. He hasn’t played that well since…Real Madrid last season.
No surprise that Robbos back and immediately we look better at the back the last 2 games. Kerkez just needs a spell on side-lines watching Robbo show him how its done.
Everyone seems to have woken up from their October slumber and has a spring in their step.
Hopefully same team starts Sunday.

I thought their full back had the measure of Salah but then towards the end of 1st half Salah figured it out.

Well this is the issue. He hasnt played well at all of late.
In fact id say this was his best performance since Real last year. Weve just not seen anything from him. He has proved he can do it - so do it every week.

I think he will play better now and this massive game was a huge confidence booster for him. He is still young, only 22 years. We have to have faith in him.
