He was immense today RM are like a red rag to a bull and then you contrast that with the performance of Huijsen who was shite especially after opening his gob before the game and taking the piss out of the Liverpool atmosphere.

Every single player was immense tonight. Gave MOTM to Bradley, Szoboslai and Konate (thought Konate was a different beast tonight, can’t believe nobody else has give him a vote), but in reality Wirtz, Robbo and the other 2 CM’s had a claim.
Can that Belgian cunt not just retire please? Fuck me, he’s starting to remind me of Southall saving Everton from any number of pastings but he’s playing for Real fucking Madrid!
Referee was a wanker, Bellingham is a fucking fraud (Madrid are welcome to him and his ‘mate’) and they are a team of diving shitbags.

I never understood the clamour for Huijsen, just one season is hard to judge a player and his stats weren’t off the chart.

Very interesting tactically for the last 2 games! Slot reverted largely back to his tactics last season. Lo and behold, we look imperious in the front and the back.
More pace in the game, Salah cutting in earlier, full-backs allowed to overlap…That was exactly what made us champions of the PL and top of the league phase last season!

He reverted a couple more games earlier and we lost, the difference is that Macca & Mo have been on their games and Ibou has switched back on and we weren’t carrying players.

The only issue I see for us, is if Szob needs a rest or gets injured as he is the glue at the moment and we don’t have a like for like player, his energy and game intelligence is paramount to our current level.

I was so surprised to see the possession stats as I thought we bossed it, but I suppose their possession was in areas that never hurt us.
I believe that’s 35 games in Europe since our last draw, the 3-3 with Benfica.

Unfortunately couldn’t watch the game “live”, and have just managed to see highlights of it.
The lads certainly played very well against a very strong RM team.
Need to keep this collective effort going for the rest of the season, so that we can go collecting cups in May

In the pre-match press conference, Slot was saying that he wanted Conor to strengthen up, so he can play every game and avoid injury. It’s quite possible that they have been working on his strength training.

Bradley won 100% of his duels and tackles vs Vinicius. Vinicius lost possession 19 times against Bradley. What a performance from the youngster!!!
