wow⊠no not yet
The US Super Bowl, people looked forward to those spectacles for half time. Cultural differences I guess.
The main cultural difference is even Americans think the game is shit and so need this sort of ancillary entertainment (not to mentioned the nonsense over the tv ads) to get them to tune in.
Oh so true! I donât care about the super bowl at all⊠but do look forward the ads compilation on YouTube.
UEFA issue âsincere apology to fansâ after Champions League final : UEFA issue "sincere apology to fans" after Champions League final - Liverpool FC - This Is Anfield
A little lateâŠ
Not good enough. They didnât apologise for releasing false statement saying the fans were late.
Yup. Only after tons and tons of video footage from both Liverpool and Real Madrid fans proved them wrong beyond a shadow of a doubt. Otherwise they would have happily blamed the fans.
To be honest there is a world of difference, the game had been delayed 30 minutes, the half time show is entertainment all she was doing was warbling an anthem for a shit organisation.
Iâve been really down and feeling shitty since last Saturday. Not because of the result but the aftermath of the entry/exit problems the fans endured. To go through all that and then be vilified by european footballâs hierarchy sickened me. I thought that it would be another cover up like our fans have experienced before. During the game uefa straight away put the blame on the fans. The french authorities did the same and fans of our rivals here at home jumped on the bandwagon. But through the week more and more voices were raised and video evidence provided to show that far from being the problem it was only the fine behaviour of our fans that prevented something really bad happening.
uefa have now apologised (if you can call it that) for what the fans went through. Yes âthe fansâ. It was only when Real Madrid complained that uefa backed down and issued the semi apology.
I really hope LFC, RM and their supporters groups pursue this and hand uefa their balls.
Iâm feeling a bit more upbeat as more and more support comes our way. Feck the cnuts from other clubs that jump on the anti LFC bus. Theyâll never have what we have.
Also seeing that other cnut johnson being booed yesterday lifted my spirits too.

This is what happens when you contradict/question French police.
In another development during the Senateâs investigation, it emerged that all the CCTV from outside the stadium on the day of the final has been deleted.
Still pissed off about this game. F you Thibaut Courtois
What happened on the pitch is a complete fucking irrelevance to me now and I say that as someone who has lived and breathed for European football since the early 70âs. Thereâs not much I donât know about our European history but right now I couldnât give a fuck if we never played another game in a UEFA competition. They are fucking criminals, itâs that simple and our club should do everything in itâs power to see some of them in jail if there is anything in their actions before, during or after the match that would carry that sort of penalty.
The CL home games next season are going to be a shitshow, this isnât something thatâs going to blow over anytime soon.
I donât post much anymore and wanted to share how difficult the last few weeks have been. I, too, like @jaffod , had and still have no reason to want to analyze anything regarding the football match.
This set of lies is turning out to be exactly as the lies following the death of our 97. The moment I realized that was going to be a terrible day, was when I saw live coverage of our supporters sections with our brothers/sisters not in their seats (just 25 mins before the scheduled KO).
As more and more info started to flow in (during the game) I felt I knew why our fans were not themselves. From so many thousands of miles, here I am questioning my mates at LFC Orlando why our supporters were not themselves. It was evident, and itâs now confirmed that the 2022 CL Final will change the UCL for ever for us, members of the LFC family.
I donât know what we can do about it. I donât know if a class action law suit (or a series of them) will even happen and if they do, what theyâll achieve. But one thing I can predict with certainty. This competition has lost its meaning, and importance, now that UEFA, not just France is proving to be a mafia operation. We thought FIFA was that, but what we are witnessing now is proving that UEFA are giving the FIFA scandal a run for its money.
The sad Cheaty supporters have their unfounded reasons to boo the UEFA CL anthem. We will have all the valid, legitimate reasons to do whatever is right.
One last word regarding the proud, good people of France, and especially the great Parisians. I am sad for you and your families and friends. You have an establishment of underground proportions running the PPD and the ministry of Sports. If you donât manage to demand change to how they treat sporting events, youâll continue to see a rise in Ultras and gangs controlling your streets, before, during and after events. How terrible must it be now that you canât safely go out and enjoy your city. Hope you manage to succeed at overcoming this terror stricken cityâŠ

Jurgen had no idea his family were caught up in the dangerous chaos outside. He thought his family were inside the stadium, they didnât want to disturb his concentration in preparing for the important game. This is terrible.
