I’m sorry but this has gone well beyond dodgy refs, injuries or players out of form. For me the bucks stop with the manager. He should have walked months ago…

Poor Dom…fights n fights for the ball in defence and attack, harries opponents, gets the ball back in our possession, and scores beautiful goals…then some of our players couldn’t give a shit…don’t fight for the ball, don’t know we play in red (at home), run directly in opponents, or don’t even run, just dawdle around…its getting heartbreaking to watch…and Dom must be thinking why oh why do I bother…

I knew it was a bad day when LFCtv to only have half an hour coverage. The only excuse I could think of for Ekitike and Salah is that they had an empty stomach because of fasting other than that it was dire especially going 1:0 up we sat back as we have done countless times lately and to allow that prick Richardson to score was criminal I cannot stand him.

I didn’t watch the match so can’t comment on individual performances, I usually like to listen to home matches on the radio for the ambience. It sounded very nervously quiet with little singing going on. What was noticeable obviously was the boos when the ref blew whistle. Too much for the fans now, however I don’t think it’s right to make a sacking decision.

I wouldn’t like him to join that list of failures because all the teams shown are in the bottom four of the premier league.

Exception is obviously scum, but they were well below the champions league places when they made that decision and had been calling him out for a long time. Maresca basically ended his own tenure and it wasn’t titled ‘sacked’ - he would have been rewarded handsomely for his club World Cup success, and rightly so!

Slot should be in charge for last match at Anfield against Brentford and shakes everyone’s hand, thanks for the 20th league title and then It’s done mutually.

Whoever comes in next has a massive job understandably as it is Liverpool … I originally thought we only needed to make some fine tweaks to a successful squad, but if it is major transition time then I wouldn’t fancy Salah’s, VVD’s, Roberton’s, Jones’s chances. They seem to be players that will be disposable for the next coach. Becker is obviously safe due to recent extension.
