Jones turning out to be a top player. He is very calm on the ball and has quick feet as well.

It was totally a disgraceful show of bias; but we all seem to have forgot in the emotion of victory. Aurier was literally grappling Mane all night :rage:

You’re probably not wrong… someone should write an article on it.

It was a proper game of football. Gripping stuff. We so deserved that win. Some of the football in the first half was sensational. I loved Bobby’s celebration. I loved Curtis Jones’ performance. I loved that we had a lad at the back who was playing non-league football last season but didn’t look out of place in a PL game. What a team this is and what a manager we have. Working bloody miracles here.

Gini. When I think of fitness I think Gini. World class. And it seemed like we were playing more through him tonight centrally. More so than we had been recently.

ANNOUNCE GINI!

I know the answer, I just ask these things to test the forums knowledge of football. Klopp knows best and doen’t like axial play.

Bobby enjoyed that goal, but then who wouldn’t? I thought he was going to jump into the Kop.

There must be a gif / meme of moaning Mourinho following this. We need one to go along side the Pep “twice” one

Sorry to say I was out when the game was played, so have only seen the goals. Other than that I have read @cynicaloldgit’s yarn of the game and the opinions of some others.
Regardless, it is a very strong result and from what I understand we also deserved to win. Very pleased. A fine evening all around.

Absolutely convinced the game is bent. The standard of refereeing cannot be so poor. It’s impossible.

We will win the league. Why? JK and the team. His standard of coaching + the ability and determination of the players is 2nd to none.

Don’t get why some fans on here love to question our goals and take some perverse delight in agreeing with dodgy goals against us.

By the way, I think the hand ball rule and the offside slide rule technology decisions are stupid but Son was half a yard offside on the first replay. So, so clear.

I missed the Bobby goal.
I really thought it was going to be a long drawn out draw with either a 0-0 or 1-1. I thought Mourinho was going to suck the life out of the game.
It was a good game. It good have gone either way tbh and as @cynicaloldgit correctly pointed out, it was us against the officials, but Bobby had the last laugh. I thought we were the better team overall.

The youngsters were brilliant in a high stakes, high pressure team. This match is giving them some good experience. I am glad we got this tough game out the way.
