… What a thumping header that was:laughing:. That’s why he’s world class, didn’t really do too much for the whole game and one moment of brilliance seals us the three points:ok_hand:. The game itself was what he had expected. Spurs played the counter and ceded possession to us. It almost worked for them as we got lucky with the two big chances they had. We couldn’t generate any quality chances and were mostly on the peripheral.
Front three did alright, but I felt Mane was owned by Aurier tonight, he couldn’t do anything was mostly quiet aside from a few runs to the byline.
I’m really really impress on how Jones have taken his chance and shown what an incredible talent he is. He’s gonna be a main staple in our Midfield for years to come.
Without Gomez pace we are vulnerable on the counter against fast opposition that can break our offside traps. Williams did alright, but him and Fab lacks the pace to chase down fast opponents.
I think this year is going to be really tight title race. Spurs aren’t pretenders, they have the quality to get it done. It’s gonna be fun the rest of the way.

Spurs goal: from a football perspective, these sorts of close decisions I feel should be advantage to attacking side. So a goal.
BUT of course, with the rules as they stand, VAR should be doing forensic analysis on it, and if it was Salah through on goal, you just know what would happen.

Crazy league huh?? Fulham made us look like Valedores de Iztacalco FC on the weekend and now Spuds were dominated the entire match. Actually, despite that, the match could have gone either way. Might have been a different story had they taken their chances.
I’ve got a feeling Klopp and the boys won’t allow anymore surprises from now on and will stay top for the remaining matches.

YES!!! Big relief. Not one to go on about refs and decisions going against but got really annoyed with the ref turning a blind eye to handballs and Hojbergs challenges, he could have had 4 yellows easily.

Joses methods are outdated.
You can’t defend for 90 mins everytime against top teams.
The fitness levels are much much more these days which makes it incredibly harder for defenind teams to defend. Swear didn’t see robbo mo wijnaldum break a sweat this game.
