Although the officials from Manchester tried to fuck us we prevailed in our best match of the season. Thought Firmino played his best game for a long while even before he scored his fantastic goal and run afterwards.
OK, so I missed most of the game due to broadband issues. Cheers, SKY.
Once I finally joined the game, well impressed with Gini in particular, and Fabinho. And a massive, massive goal there at the end.
Watching the post match interviews - ok, Jose is being Jose and with the chances they missed I can get his point, he’ll feel they should have won. Not too classy with the “the best team lost” line, but hey, its Jose.
But then… not sure if she misunderstood Jose, but it seemed deliberate… the presenter basically lied to Jurgen about what Jose had said… talk about shit stirring.
It must be so frustrating for the likes of Pep and Jose watching Klopp including 19-20 year old kids in the line up and nothing changes, same performance same result. It’s called coaching fellas.
BBC Radio 5 reporting our second goal as “hugely controversial”. Apparently VAR looked at a possible foul by Henderson on Dier which is why the Spurs bench were ranting at the end.
Great game though and another great Anfield night. Hopefully get three points at Palace too…
