Post Match: Liverpool v Toulouse (EL 26/10/23 8pm)

Good performance and a great result. Happy to see that Klopp continues to rotate the squad and we still get the results. If we go and win against these away we should have wrapped up the top spot in the group.

Gravenberch was the stand out man today but Endo impressed as well. His best game in a Liverpool shirt probably. Back four looked fine to me, only Chambers looked wobbly from time to time.

Now let’s bing back the strongest eleven in the PL and hammer Forrest on Sunday.

Kelleher looked way out of sorts.

Thought he could have done way better with their goal and luckily Trent saved him after his brain fart.

He looked class for a couple of seasons, but seems to have dropped off a bit

That Ryan guy is ok.

It is “every egg a bird” every time we buy a player

Great performance all round from the team, but I was really impressed with the calmness and stability that Endo brought to the midfield.

He really provided the likes of Gravenberch with a platform to go and show their thang

Also great to see Gakpo back getting straight back into the action.

The poor guy has just had an operation he hasn’t trained properly for a few weeks let’s give him a break he is our no2 goalie by a long chalk

Suddenly we have a serious ,and young midfield.
Great outing all round…What I have seen it was a good game…Good to see Endo on the scoresheet,he certainly has a role to play here.Gravenberch…what do you say?A classact,it would seem.
MOTM,between those two,Gravenberch by a short half heard.

On Ryan Gravenberch: “He’s a good player. I’m so happy for him that he starts really enjoying his football again. His first touch is incredible, his acceleration with the ball. He’s not even half way there. The good thing is that he has a lot of things to improve.”-Klopp

He was never the goalie some pretended he was but he reacted to the mistakes and didn’t shy away from it.

He is a good second choice for us. He isn’t worth selling Alisson and replacing with as some people would occasionally say on here.

Of course he isn’t. Why would you get rid of the best goalie in the world? But he is an excellent young keeper. He’s back to being fit. I’ll give a pass for tonight.

Who has said that :joy:

It’s been said a couple of times on here, mainly during silly season in the transfer threads.

That score line is a little bit better than my prediction, well done lads.
I would really love some clean sheets though.
If we get a run without conceding I might change my usual prediction!

Not playing regular football will do that.

He needs to leave for his own growth. Move to a club where he’s the guaranteed first choice GK.

we won, top of the group, and a different set of lads playing together, and some admirable players in the team. Delighted to support this great club

Reflecting on the three first games in EL, I’d been struck by the quality of our squad. I’d say that in attack we have maybe the best depth we have ever had. We have five players who all can start in PL and wouldn’t be out of place also in CL. I personally rank Jota and Gapko as fourth and fifth choice but as I said they are PL quality starters in most other clubs.
