Post Match: Liverpool v Toulouse (EL 26/10/23 8pm)

You can get 11/4 for us to win this competition. I honestly can’t see us not walking it. Very tempted to go silly, as I rarely ever bet on anything. Any thoughts?

I don’t see any threats from the current teams, although West Ham and Brighton could be a tough game still in a one off final. The threat if any will come from the Champions League 3rd place teams.

Actually I have just looked at the teams and you could argue Roma and Leverkusen will be tricky also.

I would still back us to beat any of the current teams in a big final.

I backed us to win it as soon as odds were available. We’re a team that would be challenging for the Champions League if we were in it.

And don’t forget: rule number one of betting is only bet what you can afford to lose.

I haven’t had a bet, but I booked flights and hotel for Dublin, before a ball had been kicked

Ok, I’ll sleep on it. But I really fancy us for it and, like you, I fancy us for the league too but it’s so tight and results like that fucking Spurs game don’t fill me with confidence.

Couldn’t stop laughing from the time he fell to his knees, looked back to see Grav tuck it away and then still buried his head in the grass

Wait a minute. We’re selling Allison? And keeping Kelleher? That’s ridiculous!! Allison is the best keeper in the world.

Cheers to crazy, indeed. for a good time, not a long time.

Oh, come on all he did was leave his leg behind. I do that all the time (however in his case he reamins in control, I just fall over).

Sorry gave you one of those face things as I thought you were talking about me.

Zut Alors! C’est incroyable

Loris and Simon are kind of pissed at you right now. Of course so is Onana…

Nope. He’s a Norse god.

I took a look at their discussion forums. They look like a jolly bunch.

most of them acknowledged the difference in level between their team and “liverpool B playing wearing flip flops”.

They are proud of their team trying to play football at Anfield instead of parking the bus.

10 keepers who’ve played / signed for Liverpool in the last 20 years who are worse than Kelleher.

Easy.

Basically every keeper not Alisson or Gulacsi.

or reina or dudek

I’d still say Kelleher is better than Dudek. But fair point

Kelleher is the best second choice we’ve had in my time watching Liverpool.

That said, he was poor, and his recent ‘form’ (last few games he’s played for us going back to Southampton) has not been good.

Some get a little excited sometimes and think of him as the man to replace Alisson. Definitely not. He is a great second choice, that’s it.
