Fuming about the game with Liverpool? What did he have to fume about? Or do you mean the game in general?
Yes, true but I just wondered what in particular he was fuming about in this game?
I mean apart from Mane being bundled over I don’t think we were hard done by but I can’t think of any reason why a West Ham fan would fuming about VAR over this game.
He and apparently most WHU fans feel they are never treated fairly when they play the likes of us, City, United etc. The refs have an agenda (bias) and always give those teams the decisions and the Hammers don’t get them. The typical moans you see on here all the time…and every other forum.
He was obviously particularly aggrieved at the penalty award and especially as he reckons Antonio gets hacked down all the time and never gets the decision. He cites a particular incident recently against City. I didn’t see it so couldn’t comment.
He also says Mane was blatantly offside for the second goal. Yes I know, he wasn’t interfering with play 
And before everyone piles in, I have seen equally outrageous statements on here. Just look at any in-match thread 
Most fans are the same blinkered individuals when it comes to their team. Just look at any forum. In other respects my Hammer’s mate is a rational and grounded individual but all reason goes out the window where football is concerned.

But that doesn’t mean that some are not correct. You can deny the existence of bias against Liverpool, or you can recognise it.
