Post match: Liverpool v West Ham (EPL 5/3/22 5.30pm)

City makes those fouls against us all the time to break up the counter attack without even getting yellow

Not just against us. They do it all the time, but the officials turn a blind eye to it. Fernandinho should get two yellows every single match- he should never finish ninety minutes.

And it was open season on assaulting Salah continually without a murmur from us and no action taken by fat moss

United have dropped to his level perfectly then

Part of the reason why Fabinho’s the best at his position is that while he does concede some fouls…there’s nothing cynical about those fouls , not like what Fernandinho/ Rodri / Gundogan / Kante do

Is this about tactical fouls?

What about Fabinhos Bodycheck on St. Maximin. Very late in the game at 1-1. Saved us the point and Fabinho received a yellow - rightly so.

Tactical fouls are part of the game. As long as they are not reckless they get punished with a yellow card. Nothing wrong with them. Also known as ‘taking one for the team’

Now that would have been hilarious. I think it was Chris Wood who did that(?), meowing to him the whole game. Great stuff, I hope it becomes a thing.

He got lambasted for the one time he got dispossessed in the 1st half, but he is an easy target for those uneducated amongst us

Funny but would piss me off if I was sat behind him !!

Fixed for greater accuracy.

Cresswell was a red
Jota was a yellow

Cresswells effected the result
Jotas didnt.

Moyes needs to think again

If Moyes is capable of that, he wouldn’t have gone to scum when old whiskey nose wanted a scapegoat.
