Really impressed with Trent defensively today, plus an assist and a goal-line clearance gets my motm.

Didn’t play well, but a good well.

I understand it got a bit feisty in the pre-match. We try and give the benefit of the doubt when everyone’s chimps are out, but ffs calm down.

1-0 wins are always welcome at this stage of the season. We dominated with WH all behind the ball as expected, but couldn’t get that second.

WH set up to be physical, but with VVD and Konate, we kept them to a few chances.

Digging out and holding a lead is important for the run-in. Enjoyed that fight.

Big 3 points.

We didnt have our shooting boots on, but plenty of chances which is good.

Great defending, albeit some of it needed to be last ditch.

We move on. Confident that the lads are frustrated that they made it more difficult than it needed to be.

Inter under the lights…looking forward to us playing in our fourth comp in four games.

The sign of champions, we were not at our best but controlled most of the game and should have it won in the first half. Diaz, Henderson and Virgil men of match. Onwards and upwards.

Relieved by that one. Thought our play down the wings was good, but not sure the front three were always on the same page. Thought Salah was a bit selfish with his play at points - don’t mind that when he nabs one, but he just didn’t look likely today. Thought the defence covered well in some sticky situations. Onwards.
