That didn’t come on the back 7 defeats in 9 games though did it.
If we had been on an incredible winning run this point would have some credibility to it. But we aren’t and its more twisting the narrative to everyone is been reactive to one game.

Yes but he cannot be fire proof.
We have lost 40% of our games since PSG beat us.
We won league, switched off and cant switch it back on. We also dismantled a winning team and signed players that at the moment aren’t up to the standard or the pace that the league demands.
Champions shouldnt be losing 5 league games by first week of November. No matter who is in charge.

Chelsea sacked Mourinho in December 2015 after 9 defeats in 16 the season after been champions.
Chelsea have a laughable recent history of manager patience and longevity.

the point you are trying to make, although i understand your angle, to me is the issue…
we washed the end of last season after we’d secured the league and for a lot of people that was very dissappointing, myself included.
i said at the time it disrespected the competition and could easily come back to haunt the team…
Slot was on stage with a DJ in Ibiza while the premier league season had not concluded and to me thats not appropriate for a manager at LFC, at the VERY least, its making a rod for your own back if things go a bit pear shaped…
i agree Slot has bought time and deserves credit and patience…however, i dont think we can just sweep last seasons post title (and a bit before it was secured if we want to be honest*) form under the rug.
just on that, the form prior to the title being secured can be explained away as the pressure getting to the lads, i even agree with that, after that though, with the pressure released, you could have argued the team should have played with freedom and swagger

Chelsea are not an advert for how to run a football club, regarding the manager role.
There is a lot made of Slot going on holiday after winning the league. Maybe that wasn’t the best thing to do from a footballing point of view.
However, what’s often forgotten with Slot is that his family do live with him. That must be tough for him. I wouldn’t like that.
Is going on holiday with his family after the league was secure really that much of an issue?
Seems we also lost 5 - 1 to city under Klopp.
The point is it isn’t just Arne, Jurgen got it wrong on occasion as well.
I am critical of how we play when bringing the ball out from the back and that is on Arne, but no coach can set up a plan when individuals aren’t performing to the required level.

That’s kind of the point. We don’t want to end up like Chelsea and United with years of managerial merry go round. We appointed Slot for a reason, backed him with loads of cash in the summer, and should give him time to work this out.

Klopp lost 5-0 against an incredible City team after Mane was sent off in the first half, a much better City team than yesterday. He also was far more proven as a manager and wasn’t in such a run of poor form.
It has no relevance to the criticism Slot is receiving.

I’m not sure he’s dismantled a winning team. Nine of yesterday’s starters were picking up winners medals in May, plus the four subs who came on, and let’s not forget what happened last Tuesday night.
I agree, it does feel as though we can’t switch it back on (with any regularity) on at the moment, and I was puzzled that our record signing was collecting splinters in his backside the whole game, but if a guy who led us to the title last season doesn’t deserve a break, who does?

I don’t see a right or wrong here whichever side people sit on, if some fans want him out then I’m sure they have good reasons for it, if others want him to get another 6-12 months, again I’m sure they have good reasons for it, but let’s get one thing right here, nothing is based on “a few games”
Having concerns but also wanting him to turn things around is the most sensible option and is where I am with it.

I was referring to those that want Slot gone, not from my perspective.
& overall terms, not cherry picking a few games at Anfield where teams play the way we want teams to.
