Absolutely. But he’d have gone down faster than a hooker on a Saturday night and our boys would have got red undoubtedly.
Bruising in the shin area is slower to heal, I would guess a week or so before he can be back in full training.
I’ve just watched ‘Inside Old Trafford’ on You Tube from LFCTV. Filmed from pitch level, some excellent coverage of our fans as well. Well worth 15 minutes of your time.
The ground level camera showing Hendo’s exquisite pass to Mo for the goal was fantastic.
In the press conference think Pep said something about Naby taking part in the “rondo’s” but not in other training.
So looks like he’s on his way back already
Wow thanks for that link. May not be porn but was actually looking to try watch the full game. Will use this more.
Is it free from midnight?
Going to ready the lube.
On YouTube for free
It’s free now
Love the pantomime booing
The incident Jones/CR 7 should have ended with the marching order for Ronaldo. A red card all day long.
The reason for me is the ref blew the whistle before Ronaldo kicked Curtis twice. As mentioned above he can’t play the ball through Jones, instead he had zu pull the ball back into the opposite direktion if he wanted to play on.
He doesn’t though. The ref blows as Ronaldo is delivering the final kick.
So if that’s your reason you might want to reconsider or find another reason.
Hm, so my perception let me down.
So he came away with a yellow. Players with a lesser reputation would have been sent off I think.
I don’t think it could have been Greenwood. He started the game and was subbed off at half time for Pogba. Even though he was one Utd player that looked lively in the first half.
Mo’s hat trick goal is a perfect example of that. His second touch was heavy and took it away from him. If DdG comes off his line he blocks it. But he was rooted and Mo had time to get a touch and put it in.
We never replaced Gini. From past Windows, there’s a bargain or two to be had in January.
I was looking at that because that’s exactly what I was thinking, then saw a few different angles and changed my mind. Mo did play it a bit far forward, but was running at such pace that nothing could have been done. I agree if ddg had stutter stepped the entire time, then maybe, but he had moved off the line and had stopped.
Pogba definite red. Is right.
Ronaldo very lucky not to see red.
Maguire, Fred, Fernandes were all solid yellow, even orange if you like, but would have been a bit unlucky to see red, though we’ve all seen them given.
Basically they lost their discipline as they were massively outmatched and the gulf in class was evident for all to see. So they started amassing cards as they lost the plot.
On our side, had we kept playing for the full match, it could have been 7, 8, easily. I was frustrated momentarily as an 8-0 loss on home soil to Liverpool just feels that much more seismic than 5-0, but obviously with the game well and truly won, and Man Utd losing their discipline, we went into self preservation mode after Keita was kicked out of it.
Still, the ease with which we passed it around, while they chased shadows, was a chastening experience for them in its own way too.
Ole now has a reprieve. I read that as negotiations with Conte ongoing, as he tries to ascertain the extent of his permission to put his own stamp on it. If he is not sufficiently in charge, he won’t go there.
The way the Utd players lost the plot and self-discipline in the match, highlights serious concern towards how much outside pressure the referee’s are under from the governing bodies and in turn, TV companies in order to …
Not to spoil the game for the fans.!
How many times over the seasons, have we heard imbecile pundits spout after a game ‘the red card spoilt the game’.! or ‘The referee could have given a yellow there instead of a red’
Yet if adhering to the the rules of the game… a simple or tactical foul remains a foul, a serious career ending foul remains a foul… Simple.
It is how the on-the-spot punishments that are handed out that gets frustrating. There is a total lack of consistency by these on-field referee’s becoming judge, jury and executioner for the good of the game/match, as per duplicitous paymaster instruction and blinkered loudmouth punditry.
