Take it away.
(For me a very controlled and measured display with a much changed side away at a very tricky side. No injuries. Incredibly pleasing. Props to Klopp and onto smashing the bitters.)

He often gets overexcited.
Or so I hear.

Gakpo really put a shift in today but generally everyone played well. Credit to the fans too.
Totally justified as the only sloppy stuff came after the subs were made.

Did say in the pre-match that Liverpool would win by two and Jota would score
That looked much more like us in the second half. Still a bit ragged in places, but the positive heads-up play was back. And most importantly, it felt like the complacency was gone. Happy enough with that.
Into the Blues.

We will all look back to Gravenberch’s goal after we win the league.

Gakpo for me… been brilliant the last few games

Good result and decent performance. Something to build upon.
Dyche and Everton are going to be absolute thugs in the Pit on Wednesday.

Grav had a really solid game.
He belongs in Liverpool. I expect to see him improve more with a proper pre season under the new regime

Mentally that goal did something for him, you could tell after he scored it

Also it’s nice to have a striker who can stay on side and finish

I wonder if all the Twitter warriors (and a couple on here…) crying that we’re done and we need a clear out will have a bit of clarity now…
We’re not a bad footy side. Five games to achieve something incredible.

Kind of weird. We lose two home games in rapid succession but win the following 2 away fixtures.
Gakpo and Gravenberch impressed for once and our starting forward line seemed to work. Diaz on the right looked quite effective.
What’s next? Oh, the shite…

question is, who do we start in front on wed
Second half was the first time we’ve looked like ourselves in weeks. Moved the ball with much more purpose and poise. Even had a forward score a goal.
Gakpo was probably man of the match, Robertson close behind. Endo fantastic in the second half as well .
Delighted for Gravenberch, played well and got a crucial goal. What a shot too.
