LFC doesnât just get screwed by the poor refereeing decisions in the games we are playing at Anfield, or elsewhere, but also, we are getting screwed by the decisions offered to our competitors in their favour⌠when they play their games
I have no idea, i know there are non public communications between officials, league, and teams searching for explanations of certain calls/decisions etc, but publicly questioning integrity of league and officials and berating them verbally on the pitch never goes well. It usually ends up have the reverse affect, as league and officials are angry.
Non public communications have been rendered useless in Liverpools case. We can quietly complain and it gets us nowhere.
The likes of Tierney, Webb, Atwell and add Brooks will still shaft us and give the likes of City title winning advantage.
Liverpool supporters called for a vociferous captain, like Keane back some time ago.
Someone to stand up to the continuous nonsense. Much as I cannot stand Keane, his attitude of getting on officials faces worked for United. Even when they were in the wrong.
Virgil had a go on Sunday because he was frustrated at an inept, cowardly decision. It might be worth an extra game to show that we wonât be taking referees bias and stupidity lying down anymore.
A vocal captain should still maintain dignity and decorum. Unless of course heâs working class then he should swear like a fucking trooper at all the match officials, obviouslyâŚâŚ.
That 2nd paragraph is one of the most laughable things Iâve read in a long time.
Refereeâs performances are meticulously dissected and rated by their bosses. Those with the highest scores are rewarded with the âgolden matchesâ i.e games involving the top teams.
That would explain why Anthony Taylor - who routinely âmissesâ major incidents in Liverpool games to Liverpoolâs cost - is rewarded with even more Liverpool games.
