Brought on Darwin at the perfect time when Newcastle were visibly gassed which meant Darwin could just focus on attacking more and there was less threat of being overrun

The current system was based on a system where our midfield 3 were cloggers. Fabinho, Hendo and Gini. That made Firmino useful as he can link up the play from the front.
Now, the midfield 2 have players that are technically gifted, has the legs to cover and has the passing range to boot. We are missing a younger Fabinho that can tackle and intercept. Endo obviously loses out on the aerial ability and pace but can improve on his physicality.
With Thiago, Szoboslai, Alexis, Jones and Elliott( if he bulks up more) and Bajectic( at times) to take the 2 CM places, there is less need for a Firmino type of player to drop to AM. What LFC needs is a finishing god with pace and power. Nunez showed that very clearly nowâŚ
