11/12. Amazing
First 20 minutes we were very sloppy, coughing up possession through mis-placed passes. Once we settled we were dominant and would have gone in at HT 3 or 4 up with better finishing and a competent referee. The non-penalty and booking for MacAllister were fucking scandalous decisions.
Few scary moments 2nd half but again we were clearly the better side and their 'keeper pulled off a few great saves to deny us.
Looked a bit more composed seeing out the last 10 minutes. Also quite happy it was quite a low tempo match going into Sundayâs game at Arsenal.
Too masculine and real looking. It needs to be whispier. More translucent.
Nice seeing @PeachesEnRegalia singing
He looks happy
We looked a tad sloppy at times, but got the result we wanted. Some good passages of play as well.Kelleher MOTM for me,not surprising he aspires to be No1,somewhere,who can blame him?
Gave Kelleher my MOM as his saves won us the three points. The save that was tipped over the bar from a deflection was outstanding. I love Ali but this lad is the best No2 in the Premiership. A good solid performance all round and very good three points.
My internet died right after the blind men in black turned down the penalty on NĂșñez, probably because it was so infuriated.
What saves from Kelleher did I miss?
Just watched these highlights: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyw7IXTfMNk and it amuses me that Salahâs first reaction after the goal is to turn his head to check the flag.
Imagine thats your mindset though.
No celebration until you are certain its a goal.
fixed for greater reality.
Or just conditioning by the shit refereeing heâs experienced so much?
Theyâll find something to moan about, donât worry.
I mean, itâs not as fun to watch as Jurgenball is it?
For all the high tempo âheavy metalâ we famously played under Klopp, during his best seasons we took a much more controlled approach, similar to what weâre seeing now with Slot.
Anyway, I was surprised to see Tsimikas ending up with Man of the Match honours. He was good, but I wouldnât place him above Gravenberch and Gapko for instance. Also, nice to see another good performance by Nunez, this time with a goal, and Szoboszlai being much improved in possession.
All in all, it was a good game away from home in the CL We had periods when Leipzig couldnât touch us.
Some of the players looked rusty, and as a team we were barely out of first-gear. Yet, we controlled the game. Ridiculous.

Every game of football Iâve ever watched looks exactly the same as the last one.
