Considering we are talking about refs odd they have appointed them yet
There you go again. You can only recite the âbiasedâ decisions in our games or affecting us. Take the blinkers off.
Do you actually watch any other games?
I seriously doubt it. How many Everton games do you watch? How many City and United games do you watch?
Just one example that @Limiescouse cited yesterday. City were denied a penalty in the West Ham game recently. Looked like a stonewall penalty to me so using your logic, they must have been denied 3 points by a cheating ref and/or VAR. Were they or does it only apply to LFC? Are you not able to see that if there are referees apparently biased against us, there must surely be ones that are biased in our favour.
There is a league table showing which team has benefited most from VAR overturning decisions this season. Guess which club are top of that league table?
These cheating refs are doing a really bad jobâŚ
In that same City game Fernandinho had three bookable fouls on Antonio, in the first half.
Were you watching the match? Surely City being two goals and a player down might have had an effect on the result?
Do you just want to keep arguing that other teams suffer injustices? Its your way of equalising things?
Regarding the VAR table, because of our famous high line we have more offsides turned over? Can you accept that could be a factor?
I donât need to watch other matches to know Liverpool get fucked over regularly. And maybe it evens itself out for other teams, something that canât be said for us otherwise people wouldnât be going back 7 months to find an instance where a Liverpool player could have been booked.
As for your VAR overturns table has it occured to you itâs because we get so many shite calls from the onâfield ref that are then overturned after a more honest ref on VAR gets involved? Anthony Taylor refs us a lot more than he VARâs us. If you can show me a table naming the refs/VAR who were involved in those overturns then I might pay it some credence. I doubt the likes of Taylor, Kavanagh and Tierney would too high up the list for suggesting overturns.
Ha ha youâd think his West Ham supporting mate would have pointed this out to him wouldnât you? You know, the one with the bad memory.
Seriously, the blinkers are almost becoming tin foil hat territory here. I can think of loads of occasions in recent matches where Fabinho, Milner and/or Thiago were lucky to escape a booking
Logical, but youâre wasting your time. Itâs never going to click with him. For him, seeing us with the most overturns or whatever isnât a case of the wrong decision being corrected but proof that we get rub of the green, just as is splattered everywhere by the mindless LiVARpool crowd. Maddening.
Alternatively, we play a high defensive line and are the best proponents of it in the league, which a strategy that lends itself to VAR overrules given the way linesmen are instructed to accommodate VAR
Except only 2 of the 10 overturns were disallowed goals againstâŚand I donât know if either were due to our high lineâŚmaybe they were. Not sure if that proves your point or not
Anyway Jaffod and I are at different ends of a spectrum and like all spectrums the truth no doubt lies in the middle. Just wish he wouldnât swear all the time thoughâŚ
I am leaving this thread alone now. Fingers and everything else crossed for SundayâŚ
I mentioned that above, it is surely a factor in overturned decisions
âAlmostâ. Thanks for that, I am glad we are not in that space.
Donât worry Iâll be screaming âcheating bastardâ at the ref on Sunday too!
So basically after all that, we can agree on one thing - regardless of if the refs are cheats, corrupt, or actually honest, theyâre a bunch of cunts.
Hopefully, for your sake
