We are the best side in this competition by a mile. It’s our best chance of silverware out the 3 comps we are left in.
Everything suggested Sparta were a decent outfit but we made them look poor with half our first team missing. Nunez, Harvey and McAllister my MOTM and thought Diaz did well too.
That 3 minutes after HT was fucking horrendous. Can’t see Ibou playing against the cheats on Sunday but think either Joe or Quansah will be fine.
Don’t know how Coote got the VAR gig.

We should not fear anyone but I would like to avoid Roma not because of their team but mainly because of their ultras when we won the European cup before the game quite a few of our fans got stabbed and that’s what has happened today to a few Brighton fans

Klopp said it well. Result was great. Performance not as good.

Sparta could have scored a few themselves, and Kelleher did really well.

Darwin Nunez is rapidly becoming our most important striker. Strong, fast, good in the air and he’s getting his eye in now. He has a great shot and he creates lots of opportunities.

Hopefully he has a big game against Man City.

Mo’s not bad either. I haven’t forgotten him. :joy:

Good warm up for the major event next.Darwin finding the back of the net,together with the havoc he can cause among defenders should make it interesting.Bit of a warm up for Salah wont go astray either.
