Was Slot aggrieved about the conceded goals? If so, good because they took the shine of a dominant performance. 8 goals against in the last 3 league games and all of them avoidable. 4 points ahead with a game in hand is a great position to be in but without more control and greater defensive solidity, it wonā€™t be enough.

The good news is that weā€™re also scoring for fun and have a number of players putting in excellent performances. TAA, Mac Allister, Szoboszlai, Diaz, the record breaker, Mo Salah, take your pick. Shame that they keep undermining their own performances with loose defending though.

Wow, really enjoyed that one. Can we play Spurs every week? Itā€™s difficult to pick a top 3 but our forwards were exceptional.

Salah ahead of Liddell in the all time scorers. Amazing.

I do think it helped that we could rest players midweek, but it showed both why Spurs have the league position and goal difference that they do.

Itā€™s a pity that the League Cup isnā€™t being shown in Germany because I wouldnā€™t mind seeing those semifinal matches.

In the comments I saw, he was his usual levelheaded self and emphasized we cannot switch off for 10-15 minutes because it change a game and season

Honestly he didnā€™t sound too worked up about it in his press conference. Iā€™m sure heā€™ll speak differently behind closed doors, but he seems like an even keeled sort of guy, not taking too much from the good bits and not being too down on the bad bits.

I think he will remind them about the importance of taking care of the ball though seeing as 2 of the goals came from giving the ball away in a bad position and not being able to get back into shape in time.

In terms of us not scoring more yes. In terms of their goals no. All their goals were very soft from us.

Kuleā€™s goal, jones completely lost him. Donā€™t expect that from Jones any more

He sounded more worried about his past comments on knowing more about the team halfway through the season. You could see the wheels churning about the next lines he needs to feed the media after 3 more fixtures. :grinning:

What impressed me most is the physicality and stamina levels of the team.

When we let it drop, we picked it back up again almost immediately.

Diaz Szobo are 2 incredibly big pieces of that puzzle.

Then if you get past that, you have the man mountain that is Gravā€¦somehow get past him, you have the colossus that is Virgā€¦then none other than the best keeper between the sticks behind them!

Ibou to come back into the fold, weā€™re set up nicely to win the whole shabang.

Quad is coming home, third timeā€™s a charm baby. You better believe it!!

We had an extra day to prepare and made 7 changes compared to Wednesday.

Spurs also missed many players.

Attacking wise one of the best performances under Arne, a bit like our best under Klopp. Szoboslai was man of the match for me.Pretty solid at the back but still conceded 3 goals. Really looking forward to seeing Leicester at Anfield next.

Mo Salah is the first player in Premier League history to reach double figures for goals and assists before Christmas.

Itā€™s Christmas, and we are still unbeaten in all competitions away. Not bad really.

I think we took our foot off the pedal at 5-1 and got sloppy. Hints showed when we went 2-1 up.

Need to get better and back to seeing out games however if you had said to me 6-3 to us before the game it wouldnā€™t have surprised me considering the recent performances

Dom had a really good game and Diaz as well.

Absolutely boss game. Fantastic effort from the team. As someone else said, 6-3 flattered Spurs. Our football is both entertaining and lethal. Slot has us creating chances from all angles. The whole team seems committed and the results speak for themselves.

Fuck the quad bollocks!

Gunning for the PL/CL double. Thatā€™s where itā€™s at!

Thought that Robbo had plenty of time to judge the flight of the ball but missed it by a mile.

Saw the second half. Our goals looked easy to come by, almost as if we could get a few more if wanted.

That said I was pretty disappointed at the wsy we conceded Spurs second and third goals. Pretty sloppy.
