Post match v West Ham (A) (EPL 26/4/23 7:45pm)

If we had won at least 2 games, we would have gotten top 4 , a few weeks before.

Well, to sum up (less confusingly), I said Spurs usually freefall in the run-in, so even though Utd seems to be out of reach (yes, “only” 6 points but with two games in hand it’s potentially 12 points), might be worth to have them beat Utd, then continue to free fall (starting with Anfield, worth to add here).

Because penalty calls are so inconsistent. The level of officiating in the premier is way below the quality of play :man_shrugging:t4:

Was at game. Thought everyone played well especially Trent, matip and Gakpo…Diaz looked lively…Nunez was abysmal in his cameo

Good win. Think the plan was to pass the ball around and tire West Ham out.

Just watched the highlights and the Thiago ‘handball’ didn’t feature.
Anyone got a link to video?

Completely out of character for them. Baffling.

fuck them both. cunts.

Ha, they literally invented an adjective for it

Oh thought Jones had a good game as well

RE Chasing Utd

The gap looks too big - 6 points and 2 games in hand. But their next 4 games (3 away)

Spurs
Villa
Brighton
West Ham

Facing those without Varane and Martinez, possibly Bruno tomorrow and the weekend…a little mini collapse is not out of the question.

As long as he had the cheque book!

What on earth could Thiago have done differently?

Not sure and I don’t think it’s intentional.

Managers will always moan though.

That has to be the benchmark though. What else could they have done?

Oh I’m not disagreeing I would say the only ones given should be the obvious ones say the Forest one tonight.

Yes. When someone falling, or not in control, it shouldn’t be handball in my opinion.
