I absolutely despise it when the pundits and commentators trot out this line. Yes you fucks, weā€™ve also seen people get shot and killed, doesnā€™t make it right coz youā€™ve ā€˜seenā€™ it.

Getting to Paris is the easy bit with the trains being very good and reasonably priced compared to ours, but the hard bit is getting accommodation everything has quadrupled in price! As for a ticket wow if you know the address of Merlin then youā€™re in. It is disgusting the profiteering by the Parisians. I suggest you get yourself a tent and slum it in the bois de boulogne then you find a bar close to the stadium and watch it on telly.

I wonder what might have happened differently had the VAR done that when Trent was caught in the Villareal box after getting a shot away. Something that happens a lot in all levels of football. It happens to Mo a lot vut Iā€™ve never seen it given.

I agree Klopp could have hooked all 11 players but the genius that he is made a clever tactical change which galvanised the whole team

And Alisson was lucky not to get his head bashed in by the knee of lo Celso he should have got a yellow for that not writhing on the floor feigning injury to get a penalty!

Yep that for me was a penalty as it would have been a freekick anywhere else on the pitch as he was late

What Diaz does better than any of our other forwards, fit at the moment, is retain possession which allows us to get up the pitch as a team.

Funny old game as the saying goesā€¦.dismal first half when we couldnā€™t string two passes together. One change from Jurgen and weā€™re a different team. Think Villa must have used up most of their energy first half with the strong press but it all came right in the end. Three finalā€™s in one season is incredible in football in this day and age.

Watching it back again last night, Lo Celso looks straight down at Ali and leads with his right knee into Ali. Two pieces of irony as a result of that, Lo Celso goes to ground and in all his grand theatrics forgets and grabs his left leg, which coincidentally doesnā€™t make contact with literally anything at all.

The other piece is that if he would have just tried to play the ball, and not Ali, he possibly could have made something of the situation.

I think Jota is more vulnerable to struggling when the team is struggling. He is great at creating space for himself to get a shot off, not nearly as good at creating space for himself to get the ball. When Salah and Mane are firing, Jota adds a lot of value, particularly with his superb sense of where a rebound is going. When they are not, he is not able to contribute much, the weakest part of his game is probably bringing the other two forwards into the game, much more able to find a midfielder or Robertson than them.

Diaz is a lot more self-sufficient in that sense, ball into space and he is looking for a shot or one of the other two forwards right away. I think overall he is somewhat better, and at his age it is fairly exciting to consider what he might be in 2-3 years, but having them both as options is a great spot to be in.

They are to a Fitz and the Tantrums show in Indianapolis in June but they are definitely tickets.

Diaz is our best forward at the moment, he could have replaced any of the strikers yesterday, just as long as he stays on the left, which sort of means itā€™s more likely to be Jota or Mane that would be substituted. We could have made a bunch of changes at half time, Jurgen didnā€™t, and Iā€™m particularly happy that Naby took the chance and redeemed himself completely.

I used to completely lose it when we would make finals I was quite calm on all our goals. Itā€™s weird how far weā€™ve come.

Suppose I know I have to work it as it the University summer ball. One positive on that is we beat Spurs when I had to work one last and I was on a university campus in 2005. Iā€™ll try and hide somewhere for parts of it

I remember one of their players jumping 20 feet in the air and landing on his knee. He held his side due to where Keita had made contact with him but some of the pitches Iā€™ve played on he could have been injured by such a silly move.

At least Diaz (first time Iā€™ve seen him do it) dived into that paddling pool part of the pitch

Difference is Diaz hops right up and gets at it if he doesnā€™t hear a whistle, and doesnā€™t roll around the grounds like heā€™s been shot.
