Pardon my French, but who the hell do you think you are judging people for expressing the opinion that they’d rather not see some dubious regime in charge of our beloved club?
You must have a boner 24/7 at the moment.

You must have a boner 24/7 at the moment.
When was the last time we got a penalty?
I’m pretty sure we haven’t had one this season in the league.
The titanic was being waved goodbye on its one and only voyage.
Or it feels like it.
That’s my observations that I saw so far especially that joint statement with MUST. Dubious regimes? You mean regimes with way different cultural norms and religion from mainstream England?
The same people who are expressing the opinion of fearing a dubious regime are also the same people who thinks they represent the entire fanbase and have presumptously judge whoever that is coming in to be unfit or improper and doesn’t respect the cultural heritage.
“By common consent, our clubs are the biggest in English football and, with a combined worldwide fanbase of over 200m people, they are widely recognised global institutions – in fact perhaps two of the most well-known British institutions worldwide.
That global profile will likely attract many potential bidders, including some whose primary motivations may not respect either the cultural heritage of our clubs or the values and interests of supporters. We think that should be a matter of importance to the Government. Just as the government would not allow our most important cultural or heritage assets to fall into unfit or improper hands, it should not allow our football clubs to do so either.
We welcome the plans for an Independent Regulator tasked with developing stronger rules around football club ownership, but there is a danger it will come too late for the country’s two biggest and most successful clubs.
Manchester United and Liverpool fans are the most fierce rivals. If we can come together with common cause then we believe the Government can work out a way to ensure its intended IREF and stronger ownership rules can be introduced quickly enough to safeguard the future of our two clubs.”
The only semi-solid rumours coming out for LFC’s and Manure’s ownership is Middle Eastern ownership and guess what ,these two supporters union are saying via that statement?
Last was home to Watford on 2nd April last year Fab scored it. Last season we got 6 Premier league penalties this included the 2 vs Leeds.
Steaming shower of shit, that was. So many unforced turnovers. So many second balls falling to other team. So many times a Liverpool player would tackle, win a ball just to see it end up on a Wolves foot again.
So bloody painful to watch, that. Looked like a 14/15 Rodgers performance before the sacking.
I didn’t know slavery was a cultural norm/religion that should be respected.
Well, modern slavery’s a common point in culture for both Qatar and England in 2022…
I don’t disagree that they occur in both places, but I disagree very much that the two are comparable in scale in any way.
I was led to understand that to keep repeating mistakes over and over despite getting the same bad results was a sign of madness. So why does a great manager like Jurgen, who has guided the club to so much success persist with the same tactics week after week. Do they work on something different during the week only for the players to slip into the same half asleep mode very time a match kicks off . We continually try to slow the game down to walking pace from the first whistle every week and consequently concede early goals every week. Our lack of urgency allows opponents time to get plenty of men back and get organised and then we are trying to break them down . Our attack is not given a chance because we have allowed the opposition to ensure there are no spaces for them to run into. I think that given the chance our attack could be quite effective. Mid field is a bit week admittedly but IMO our atrocious defending and the tactics used in our defensive third are the problem. I have seen full backs jockeying wingers from 10 yards away, how the hell can you prevent a cross from 10 yards away ! I have seen CBs waiting for the ball to drop to a nice height so they can control it and play a pretty looking short pass to someone 5 yards away, for goodness sake the first rule of defending is to be first to the ball surely , not to risk losing possession by waiting around .
Get the defence sorted out and play with a greater intensity from the first whistle and I am sure we will be alright but something needs to happen quickly. Hopefully the intensity of a local derby will see a turn around in form .One thing for sure Everton will not mess around with Dyche in charge.
I see your point. There is no doubt that hearing the same voice say the same thing season after season gets stale after a while. I am sure Jurgen and his staff discuss the problems and am very surprised no one has come up with something different. I accept that injuries have had a detrimental effect but that has not been the sole problem.
Natt Philips is your man. No nonsense get it forward (I don’t want it back here, kick it upfield and let their midfield/defence worry about it) type of player. With the added bonus that if their midfield/defence don’t have a minute or a minute and a half to set up while we pass it back and forwards across our back line they might slip up and give us a chance?
As cruel as this sounds… we should send all our cannon fodder out for the first 45mins… hopefully a bucketful of yellows will have been issued to the Blueshite to take some sting out the game by the time we make some substitutions…
The problem with that is determining who our cannon fodder are currently
I.e more cannon fodders?
Second half we bring out these guys
Drivel.
And for the record, there is no doubt that modern slavery exists in the UK. Calling it a common point of culture, however, is laughable.
I know you’ve got a whip in your cupboard somewhere…
Everton are going to come at us really hard. Dyche knows how to rile Klopp up so I’m expecting a messy game and with our sorry state at the moment, I don’t see us coming out on top in this one. If fighters like Diaz, Firmino and Konate were in the starting lineup, I’d be a bit more positive.
