Virgil a bit lucky there, but thankfully the ref has remained consistent.
Jota for Diaz makes sense if Jota is ready. He’s looked lost and the red mist looks like its starting to rise. Some Jota shit housing for the last 10 mins could be valuable as well.

Apparently so.
Even though his passing was poor again today Trent defended solidly, and Milner has been a liability.

I really can’t see what our plan is here.
Pass it round the back, wait for them to get into a nice compact shape, eventually bring it into the final third and just stall. Our line keeps pushing further up until we eventually lose the ball and they hit us on the counter.
Mo, Diaz and Nunez completely blunted bar one flash. Everything else lacking cohesion, incisiveness, energy and fight.

Too many tacticsal changes into off the cuff formations. The changes are an admission that not going as thought.
At least Milner not RB anymore, he got done aout 5 times.
