That’s an exciting yet very scary midfield. There’s going to be some firworks in here during the match. Just get behind them Klopp knows what he’s doing some of the time imo then my opinions aren’t that great at the moment.

Quite surprised by this lineup as I thought we would go with some shithousery options in the XI (Milner, Robbo), and the midfield looks rather light and very offensive at first sight. But it seems Klopp expects them to skip midfield whenever they try to launch a counter anyway.

That’s a radical change, I think like most people I was expecting Robertson, Milner, and Firmino.
Big call to drop Robertson especially, but I think he needs it. Spend a little time on the bench, recover, and get ready to blitz more teams.
Meanwhile, looks like Carvalho’s shithousing abilities have convinced the manager. Interesting that Jones isn’t in the team, but Bajcetic is. I’d like to think it’s because he thinks we don’t need to risk Jones for this, and that he’s using the 9 player bench to continue rewarding the kids.

Kind wanted us to be bold so I’m glad he has he’s shown massive faith in Carvalho and Elliott but don’t they deserve it?
Milner was only ever going play once a week so I assume Klopp feels Napoli is more appropriate.
