I don’t see too many people losing their shit and predicting impending doom. Yes teams like Fulham, particularly playing at their home ground, should be taking the fight to us. That is good to see.
Some like myself have a real problem with how sloppy and off the pace we were, particularly early in the game. It’s like we didn’t expect a newly promoted team to come out fighting us.
We need to do better. Forget about what the opposition is doing.

Well said, however it was our play in our 3rd at the beginning that was killing us as we couldn’t get out of our half for the first 15 mins

We were physically bullied in the first half. Not only that but their team seemed hungrier and faster. Our long passes were frequently intercepted. We need to be “angrier” and play with more purpose and forcefulness. Really looking forward to Nunez, Elliott and Fabio coming on. If Kostas was available, I’d bring him on too. But I’d be happy if Milner came on for Trent in the 2nd half. He’d show Mitrovic what “physical” means.

Fulham doing well. Physical, committed, up for the fight. Got their goal and competed well.
On our side we haven’t been at it, with the exception of Diaz, who carried on where he left off last season, bright as a button. Lovely curled effort, but Robbo was way offside, and then a nice left footed shot hitting the far angle.
We need to improve and I think we will, but this is a reminder of the Premier League. Usually you don’t just turn up and they hand you the points. You have to fight and take it.

That’s not strictly true. At times we were. but at times, take Thiago as an example, he gets clattered from the back, but he stays on his feet using his stregth and recycles posession.
Also Diaz gets fouled, but again uses his strength to keep the ball.
Their goal was unforuate starting with a foul on Henderson resulting in two against one against Trent, who admitedly should’ve done much better.
