I’m all for letting the game flow, but when Diaz is chopped down on the edge of the area, a free kick should be called rather than allowing Fulahm to get all back into position from their own foul as Diaz springs back up to his feet.

Starting to think that it might be time to see what Trent can do in midfield. Right from the get go he seems to have been off the boil today. Suspect the boss might have a few words with him and others.
Expect to to see subs starting the second half. At least two would be justified.
I get what you are saying, but those that usually are providing the delivery, such as Trent, Robbo, Hendo and Fab, have really been off the pace in terms of passing. That needs to improve second half because the lack of good supply had been crippling. Sure we had a few instances of kicking it around in the forward half, and the forwards worked it well between eachother then, but we need to break this constant pressure from Fulham and those I’ve named above have been unusually turning the ball over a lot which has invited more pressure.
Fulham have been as expected really. Newly promoted team playing the first game at home and you’d expect them to be on song for that. We haven’t matched them really.
He’s literally playing the same role he’s played for 4 years under Klopp.

I think he’s good enough to be starting for quite a lot of matches for Liverpool this season.

I feel that’s one of the few the ref has got wrong. Where was our advantage in that? Besides that, the ref has ignored the Fulham diving shithousery which has been nice to see for once.

The comments are based in the 45 minutes seen, which was atrocious. The players should be the ones embarrassed, zero intensity or fight.
If we go on to win it will be because Klopp has bollocked them (he was fuming all half), and they turn up the second.

The final 5 minutes is the blue print for us. With Fulham back four very narrow, we spread both sides wide, worked the ball from one side to the other, and got through on a couple of occasions.
It’s more a function of how badly the rest of the team has been playing as well.
Bobby’s contributions are more to do with how he makes the attacking unit gel.
He’s been below par this match but to say he’s been below par for the last 2 seasons is overstating it. He’s been doing an unselfish job for the team throughout
