The shape of the team looks better with 4 attackers on the pitch, we aren’t pulling Trent or Henderson into mental positions when attacking. Move it forward much quicker.
Yeah, Rangers are shite, but at least we look like a football team with a proper shape. This formation is perhaps still a touch too open, but much better than what we’ve been using recently.
We look like ourselves. The press is working. Nunez has hit the target a number of times, thwarted by McGregor. Passing has been slick. Just need to maintain the concentration and intensity. Goals will come.

Hendo’s magic tonight. Frustrating finishing or shall we lack thereof has deprived him of an assist hat-trick. Second half fills me with tension at the thought of the first Rangers attack and what we do with it. Trent smiling,: just that was worth watching the half for. Will do him the world of good.

This 4231 isn’t as good as our 433 from last year or between 18-20 but it’s surely better than the formation we’ve been playing this season.
Not convinced Nunez could have done much better with some of the chances, not had a lot of time on some, hit it then or lose the chance.

I was hoping that we would bury this after Trent’s opener. I’m not being impatient, it’s just that I’ve been up since 05:00 with work and had a flu vaccination as well so I’m half dropping off already.
This formation looks promising although Rangers’ lack of possession flatters us. We should have had 3 or 4. We have been looking more coherent as the game has progressed so I’m hoping we build on that.
Aside from trying to chop Jota in half we haven’t seen much in the way of Scottish rules football and McGregor has been playing a blinder - so much for the Scottish Goalie jokes.
Just interested what Klopp does subs-wise. I don’t see an obvious tactical tweek so I expect it will be a case of resting legs.
