Just want to say, let’s support Darwin Nunez.
He was pushed and reacted. Slight contact with the head, the defender flopped, the ref bought it, straight red, and the harshest punishment now coming his way. He will be gutted.
Time to circle the wagons around him and protect him, not kick him. He has just had the harshest lesson and if he harnesses that lesson it will help him. He needs the love of the fans, not condemnation.
Right, let’s finish the job with 10 men. We might yet get a siege mentality going here that could help…

Unfortunately, the Palace guy was responding to Nunez’s earlier attempt to headbutt him off the ball. As soon as the ball went dead he confronted him about him. Quite reasonably. The one nunez missed with was a lot more of a headbutt whereas the one he landed I could accept being a clash of heads as he pushed his chest into him. But i’s pretty evident from his earlier attempt that he was willing to do it.
Give over. It’s a mans game.

Why should one support his actions ? His reaction is way off, he was only pushed for fucks sake ! His head butt also made contact and it’s a red every second of the day. To defend that reaction, I just can’t understand it.
Support him in the future though ? Sure. As long as this does not become a common reaction from him.
