I knew I’d miss Bobby, but not as much as I saw we did today. I don’t know that Nunez has the same tools in his locker (albeit, he’s young) but I have a real issue with how much our play has tried to adapt into feeding him the ball in the air when we have struggled with that approach for the better part of a decaded. It failed with Carroll, it failed with Benteke, and I don’t see a bright future for that approach of lofting crosses into the box.

However, I’d pickup that CM from Palace who was able to walk his way out of trouble on Trent’s side numerous times. he was very effective in breaking our play up.
