Hopefully in the dressing room beforehand after last week’s performance!
I couldn’t watch the previous game. But I have seen highlights and read much about it (not much good). From all accounts, including Klopp’s, it was an incredibly bad game from Liverpool, which is a very disappointing way to start the season if one has a title challenge in mind.
So against Palace, only 3 points is good enough. A draw won’t do here. I will watch and expect Liverpool to show that the opening game was not relevant to how good we are or how this season will develop.
I expect our players to be hungry to show that they are part of an amazing team, so I expect a fully deserved victory to Liverpool and will be disappointed if we just scrape 3 points in a game where Palace could have beat us.
That being said, I truly look forward to this and want to see how people like Nunez does.
A truly important game this. If we play well and beat them and find rhythm, we will destroy Manchester United.

It should be a team good enough to beat Crystal Palace. I am hopeful that Phillips and Elliot will play well and continue to grow.
