About 5 mins ago Mo and Bobby nearly worked something down by right side of the box, but Newcastle just about defended it. They were stretched to do so though. The big difference I’m seeing is that Newcastle then played out from there and won a free kick to relieve pressure.
We’ve never been a clean team that picks locks. We’re a team that breaks down the door after turning one chance into two, three and four in quick succession. These days we’re just not putting on that same pressure and so each chance ends up being a run of play in isolation. Its not that we’ve got worse at that, its that it was rarely the first raid that was fruitful in the past
