This game reminds me of Leicester away in 19/20 so far. Completely dominant and unlucky not to be 3/4 goals up at the half.
Hopefully we come out in the 2nd half the same way we did that day and score 3 more.

Kind of worries me that we are only 1 up. There’s been enough golden chances to be 3 or 4 ahead and this Leeds team look like they are capable of scoring. Still, not a bad half aside from the finishing.

quick thoughts… playing well… we should have put the game to bed in that first 45… guys in the final third are playing very well, jus rushing a bit, mane and elliot guilty of that… hopefully we wrap it up early in the 2nd

I would be worried if we were not creating. Way better than that half against Chelsea in that aspect. Should kill the game off for unnecessary nerves at the end.
We are reading their game very well and intercepting many passes which is creating so many good chances to break. Need to be bit more alert and have better touches in the final third.
Pretty impressive half that. Gave up a few good chances but should probably have had another two ourselves, especially the VVD header. Fabinho, Matip, Trent and Salah have been excellent. Mane has been threatening with a bit of erratic decision making, Jota to me looks a little bit off the pace. That nonsense talk about our midfield before the game has been thoroughly disproved.

Well on top but just the one goal to show. Keep up the tempo and their legs will go with 20 minutes left. Come on boys let’s see some goals for the effort.

Should of been 2-3 nil up. We need to score early 2nd half and take control of the game.
So far not impressed with Thiago. A bit too slow and gives too many balls away.
Concerned about he wastefulness in front of goal and some gaps in defence.
What a first half! A proper crowd, packed in a proper old-fashion stadium, supporting two proper football teams wanting to play the game and score goals. It could be 5-1 at this point, and that’s probably the only disappointing aspect of this half. We lacked composure in the final moment in order to finish some really good attacking moves.
To be fair, bar two dangerous situations and a frantic start, Leeds were under the cosh for the rest, and looked roasted at the end of the first half. The pace is so frantic, that it’s of course better to be the team which has the ball, rather to run behind it!
So, hopefully, the Leeds legs will be more and more tired as the second half goes on, and more and more space and time will open up for our forward players, who will then take these chances in order for us to take the three points. Fingers crossed!

Deserved lead at the break, disappointing it isn’t by more on the balance of play. A second goal would finish the game off, Leeds only really one good chance which they fluffed.
Not really a lot to change at half time, what we’re doing is working, just need to make some better decisions in the final third

After the first 5 mins, which Leeds had a decent chance but shot straight at Alison, we basically turned the screw and Leeds struggled to breath.
Carved them open on a number of occasions, but most shots were slightly off target (Mane having the best chance but skying it over the bar).
Two cards for Leeds for tactical fouls, plus one for Fab for his (only) nothing foul. Leeds’ defenders using the grabbing approach to defending, knowing that Pawson will allow “the game to flow”. Salah should’ve got a couple of freekicks. On the flip side, Mane went down easy on one occasion.
Speaking of Mane, he played mostly through the middle, and apart from missing the sitter, has done well.
Anyway, one up is good but still all to play for without that second goal. At around 60 mins expect to see one of Jordan/Milner/Keita/Ox come on depending on wether we are still leading at the point.
