Ah that’s awful.

YNWA FAB

YNWA Fab. Deepest condolences.

Save Matip for Chelsea because Lukaku is no Chris Wood?!

Matip can handle them.

While I don’t want players overworked, it does feel about 3 weeks since the last game and i’ll be glad when we start getting some midweek games.

Fabinho out, so Hendo or Milner at 6?

Maybe same starting 11 as last week after all?

Tough for Fabinho, so far from his family at a difficult time.

Edit
Milner also missing yesterday.
Step in skipper.

I’d love to see Thiago as the 6. For me I’d go

Alisson
Trent Matip VvD Tsimikas
Henderson Thiago Keita
Salah Firmino Mané

Subs: Kelleher, Gomez, Konaté, Milner, AOC, Elliott, Jota

Travel for Fab ok? Or is it the same case as Jurgen and Ali last year? I assume it’s ok due to copa that just finished.

Klopp just finished his pre-match presser. He confirmed that Fab “is here” - which either means was at Kirkby today for training, or he’s “here” in the UK - either way, no mention of him being away (or unavailable).

The only thing that I hope is that Fab got to see his dad in Brazil this summer.

He will be visiting Brazil during the September NT break.

Wouldn’t be surprised if Burnley try the same tactic as Norwich last week.

They’ll throw everything at us early in hope of rattling our cage and losing our composure.

They’ll probably focus on Tsimikas on the left as he has the least match time of the expected back four, hoping that will pull VVD wide.

Matip did a great job compensating in the middle of the back. TAA will have to be especially focused and aware of the space behind him. Joel is good but he’s not fast.

Henderson or Fabinho would do well but after hearing the news about his father it wouldn’t surprise me at all if he doesn’t go home for awhile.

If the lads can stay composed and fully focused for the first thirty I think Burnley will run out of ideas and we’ll gradually grind them down

Hoping for another 3-0 day. Can’t wait to watch this first match. Our fans away last week were fantastic.

Can we expect the Anfield crowd to rock the house?

I hope Mane scores early tomorrow
Seems like he becomes a man possessed after scoring.

Yes but that’s no good his dad is already passed.

I mean that I hope he got to see his dad this past summer during the Copa

Dyche is doing what he can to make Burnley as good as he can. They are a team low on footballing quality, so Dyche has determined the way to success, which for Burnley is staying in the Prem, is to get stuck in. They have overachieved in their modest ambition as I think Dyche had them around mid table once or twice, rather than worrying about the possibility of relegation.

Do I like their style? Nope. Not a bit.
Do I like Dyche? Mixed. The Messi comment is quite funny but I can’t forget previous. When their player threw in a sliding tackle on a greasy surface to break Joe Gomez’s leg, he demonstrated no empathy. I think he said a couple of phrases like mans game, and likes a tackle. Fine, to a point, but the tackle showed no regard for the conditions, and even if misjudged, a decent human being would at least say no one likes to see anyone get injured, best of luck for a speedy recovery…

So, shite football, but understandable.
And a gruff exterior, showing no empathy to an opposition player who had his leg broken.

On balance, the big ginger bollocks can get relegated.

Problem is if your Dyche to try and get those players to play tippy tippy football you’ll probably get relagated.

Norwich play nice football and they’ll probably go down

Dyche is a wanker.

I agree if he came over as the little club doing its best to survive you could accept him. But instead him comes across as a grade A tosser with a chip on the shoulder.

I genuinely believe that Kloppo’s words in this video will be remembered and quoted decades from now on. It’s legendary stuff, absolutely fantastic!

My word, I can’t wait now for the teams to finally step out onto that pitch, with a full Anfield again. It will be a real sight to behold, that’s for sure!

Not sure if Fab will start today - incredibly sad to lose someone when you are so far away.

Alisson
TAA Matip VVD Tsimikas
Henderson Thiago Keita
Salah Firminho Mane

Expect to see Milner Elliot and Gomez or Konate to come off the bench
