Anthony Taylor is the sort of ref that wants to be friends with the players and not to stamp his authority on the match. Expect to see Jorginho to put in some dirty challenges in the first half and Taylor to give him 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th warnings.
That ref is so fucking weak.

@KeillRandor there’s absolutely no need to mention Lucas when it comes to match performances now.
Many players don’t look up to speed when coming on late in a match. I think this is perhaps one of our biggest weaknesses particularly when we are defending a lead at the end of a match. We don’t seem to have a player who comes on who injects the energy in the best direction in these situation, that includes Millie, Hendo, Gomez … They invaribly look off the pace and put in too many late challenges.
On the other hand, and particularly Millie (as an example) if they start matches they abapt very well to changing rhythms.
If Millie is fit I would start him against Chelsea if not I’d go with Thiago, both are good when they start.

They just won the CL and will be challenging for PL. Not overrated.
Still think we’ll beat them though, and set a marker down that we’re back to our best!

Yep and the VAR is Chris Kavanagh. So basically we play against 13 men. I’ll be on the boat to the UK Saturday so I get spared to watch those match officials fuck Liverpool.

Taylor is unpopular with all fanbases as far as I can make out. I had to stop reading Blue Moon a couple of years ago because it was making my eyes bleed but back then they were convinced Taylor was a United fan. On Redcafe they are convinced he supports City. You could say that makes him a fair ref but I think he is one of our worst. I don’t understand how he has come to be seen as one of our best officials. He gets far too many big decisions wrong.

Got locked up for swearing.
I’ve seen him around a little, he’s nowhere near his previous form though. Just liking some posts here and there. Certainly not swearing much. So a bit of an occassional lurker atm.

I have bad vibes going on boats during a Liverpool -Chelsea match. Was crossing the channel when that match was taking place in 13/14.
Reece James, Andreas Christensen, Ben Chilwell/Marcos Alonso, Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpiliceuta… These are players that can and will be got at by teams this season.
Their strength is the midfield and wingers. I believe Lukaku will be a good signing also but they’re just one injury away from having to rely on Werner to lead the line again and he’s shite.
Also, history shows us that Tuchel will not last long before the players tire of his methods. Narky bastard.
They’re solid, but are being hyped up as though they are some sort of super team. They’ll finish 3rd by some distance.
