Pre and In Match Thread. Liverpool vs Crystal Palace EPL. Sat 18th September 2021. 1500 hrs

Solid line up. Milner is obviously the one they will target, but our midfield will hopefully do more than enough to protect him.

Looking forward to seeing Ibou. Debut goal…

I’ve never a actually seen Konate play. Is he any good?

Didn’t he play against us for Leipzig?

If he did, I don’t remember him

Think he was injured for both ties.

Kind of figures Origi would still be out. Poor baby had cramps! What a waste. Anyway, lineup looks interesting for today’s game. GO REDS!

If he shows real pace, zips the ball around, and shows physicality, and can be packaged in a nice youtube clip, many will salivate over him.

If he fails to keep the defensive line, and let’s Benteke through on goal, many will write him off on the back of this one game.

'Tis the way and all that

Not much chance of Zaha breaking away… Milner won’t be venturing forward like TAA
Looks good to me… :+1:

Rest for Matip and Robertson understandable. Would have liked a debut for Taki though.
Miller at RB should provide for more defensive cover.

I bet Zaha can’t believe his luck

Well, Henderson will help with the covering. Imagine having to go up against both Hendo and Milner.

Well, I was banging on about Milner being the emergency back up on the owners thread. Didn’t think I’d see it today though! :man_facepalming:

Cramp or no cramp, you don’t want him in the line up over Mane, Salah or Jota anyway. Origi is fine and on the bench.
