Erm ok then I guess.

Where’s N Williams?

Guess he is really down the pecking order!

No Matip on bench

Well I hope this doesn’t backfire

Interesting changes. The entire back line changing was something I didn’t expect. We still have experience at the back with VVD and Milly so that’s good. Hopefully Konate will make his mark and excited to see him and VVD partnering.

Front 6 is just :fire: That midfield is probably our strongest midfield on paper. Hopefully this will be a comfortable win! :crossed_fingers:

Milner v Zaha.

Milner needs to avoid getting a card early. Take a yellow for the team early in the second half.

Feel that Milner willl get an assist

Never liked that matchup, never seems to work well for us. Matip injured if not on the bench?

Neco has an injury doesn’t he?

Three changes in the back line isn’t ideal, nor is Milner against Zaha, but excited to see that midfield getting a rare start together and a debut for Konate.

Injured.

Probably case of not wanting to risk him even from bench and a planned complete day off. Hopefully

I am worried though! Milner on RB doesn’t provide the same offensive power as TAA!

Yeh, in case he falls off it!

Trent and Matip given day off?

No second choice fullback will though. Milly can still provide enough whilst being defensively strong. That midfield should provide enough creative outlet today.

TAA is ill
not Covid though.

We’ll have most of the ball, i suppose is the thinking. And Konate with VVD probably means a very high line from us. An experienced midfield thrown in the mix, and we should have some fun.

Last season’s centre back crisis has just shifted 20 metres to the right

Konaté in, good :+1:

Not sure we’re fans of playing a new player alongside an inexperienced player. If it was Gomez or Matip starting he may have had a shot.
