Salah ran into space where no Porto players were, Jones had the ball, moved intelligently and I was shouting at the screen, “notice Salah, please make that pass!” And he did ! Curtis Jones has good vision !

Brilliant by Jones - not just winnign the back but then having the patience to wait for Salah to free up. It’s easy to pass the buck and pass to Mane, hoping he can beat his man from the wide position. Jones showed his bravery by waiting for the perfect moment to play a pass.

He is very young. I think he will recuperate fully even if he plays 80-90 min. This is a great game for him ! And since it is, maybe let him play himself even more confident and cherish the form he is playing himself into. Because he is great. I think it may be best to just let him play, when it is going so well.
However, I may be wrong and then I trust that our bench knows what they are doing and will sub him (which I also have no problem with, as I trust them)
