The nature of how we play, we will always give a counter opportunity. BUT this first half was way too many. Need to make some adjustments to stop a direct ball leaving us exposed.
Mane has been amazing. Strength and skill combined.
Kane lucky to be on the pitch. Jota not heavily involved but comes out with a goal and should;ve had a pen.
You just know had it been the other way, Jota would’ve been marched off for the Kane lunge, and Kane would’ve got a penalty for the push on Jota.
So, slight tactic adjustments from Klopp for the second, and I can;t see Salah being quiet for a full 90.

Mane, Trent and Robertson are causing havoc.
Something needs to be done about the midfield. Morton is struggling with the pace of the game. Milner ended the half a bit better than he started it.
Spurs’ defending has left a bit to be desired, and I’m guessing they’ll tire before we do. If we can address the counter we’ll win this.

Watching replay of Kane goal, and if Robbo doesn’t drop so quickly, Kane would be off, but he’s played on by Robbo’s quick drop. Oh well.
I’ve been happy with our performance since going a goal down. Heads didn’t drop, played with intensity and energy and got the reward with the equaliser.
Wouldn’t bet against Mo scoring second half. Just need to respond better to the counters.
Still think we can win this.

Really unfortunate that Keïta’s sensible pulling back from a 40:60 tackle against Winks lead to their goal. We can do without anyone else in our midfield getting injured, even at the cost of a goal.

I missed the Jota penalty call at the time because I was trying to stop the cat destroying the Christmas tree. Looks like the ref did as well even without dealing with a prickle-footed arsehole. How is that not a penalty? He was literally pushed over from behind.
We need to be a bit tighter at the back. We have been caught on the break several times and should have conceded more than the one. On that basis, 1:1 seems not a bad score to take into the break.

Btw I haven’t seen any of our player heading the ball this good than Jota does for a while now… in my memory at least. He’s just very very good in air.

After holding for dear life in the first half of the first half, we at least partly grew into the game and became more composured. We dominated the second half of this first half. The result is there with Jota goal. After being so vulnerable at the beginning, I’ll take 1-1 at half-time.
And yes, the ref is a cunt. How was that not a penalty?

Why aren’t our players protecting AB? We should have a player in between AB and Ali and forcing space between them. Why the fuck are we just letting it be? Especially knowing this ref is not going too call shit for us?
Any time I see challenges like that one from Kane getting no red, I just think what if that had been Gerrard doing that … or God forbid Mascherano…
What game are you watching!? We’ve been fucking brilliant. Ref and midfield inexperience are killing us at times. But the intensity is fucking incredible. TAA has been brilliant as have Mane and Robbo
