I reckon we kick the shit out of him after the game.
If the result stands, it will be a slim loss against the best team in the league in a game where we have tried our best but have come up short. Not being in form, we can only ask for maximum effort, and our boys have given their all and shown they desperatly want to win. To then lose against City, is no shame.
Right now, we need to hope to find form and consistency. It does us no good to focus just on individual players and lack of accuracy of Nunez (Salah has probably missed a lot more this season despite scoring today). Some players are a problem, sure, Milner at right back not the best option and Oxlaide is sadly not good enough overall. We have a few of those. But in this game, everyone has done their best and this is where we are this season. We are not among the best 3-4 teams in the league this season, that is just a fact. And it’s not down to 1-3 players.
3-2 loss against City away, no shame when you do your best.
So chin up and hope for better times. They may indeed come!
