This reminds me of basically all our domestic cup games against non PL sides.

That said, Diaz and Doak on the wings doesn’t work really. Need one of the wide players to actually link with Nunez.
Konate has been sloppy but Van Dijk is covering for him well.
Plenty of options on the bench to strengthen and balance this side.

To win this is very simple. Chuck that inverted full-back shit away so that Bajectic doesn’t get in the way of Endo, Gravenburch and Elliott. If Bajectic cannot play full-back, get Gomez on.
If Elliott continues to struggle and do his best impression of 2023’ Jordan Henderson, then it is time to get someone else up the pitch.

biggest positive is VVD, Konate, Baj, Ryan all getting minutes… The rest is shit
Darwin should have scored yes but at least he hit the target and i have seen much worse from halland over the weekend this not why we are behind , we are playing 10 against 11 elliot is non existent defensively and frankly wate of space

But he’s letting the balll run underneath his feet multiple times. That’s not gametime issues imo, he’s training. Maybe decision making is gametime but the basics……

Given our games so far this season I’d say that being 1:0 down at half time is the game going to plan…
This is obviously not our first XI and you can tell they aren’t all up to speed. Doak has impressed, Gravenberch less so.
I’m curious what substitutions Klopp goes for. A quad swap at 60 minutes wouldn’t surprise me.
