That’s not entirely true. True in the sense we can’t do anything about Virgil or Tiago’s injuries, but we can do something about the VAR cheat.
Make it known we don’t accept the pathetic excuses trotted out by Riley and the PL, and make it known we think he’s corrupt.
I said the same thing about Webb and Atkinson in the past but the club has never gone down that road and ended up paying the price, those 2 have cheated us out of points and titles - there’s no doubt whatsoever about that.
If we don’t go after Coote publicly he’ll shaft us again in the future, make no mistake.

Agree Jaffod. Much as I hate the cunt, that is exactly what Alex Ferguson would have done (and did for far, far less). It’s not in Klopp’s makeup (that’s fine) but some at the club should be tasked with a thorough eviscerating of Coote.

Ferguson would have made sure Coote was refereeing on Hackney Marshes for the rest of his career, but unfortunately we’ll let it slide because that’s what we always do.

Don’t get me started on whether Gini’s ‘ij’ should be pronounced the same way as Virgil’s ‘ij’ we could be here all day… Gini’s Rotterdam sound is like /bye/ whereas in other parts of the Netherlands it’s like a cross between /bye/ and /bay/.

I’m looking forward to this.
I hope we start to see the beginnings of some tactical tweaks - if we can’t defend properly with the likes of Van Dijk and Alisson in the side then there’s no chance we can without them. Drop the line a touch deeper, have Trent be a little more conservative, more compact in midfield, follow runners instead of trying to play offside. Nothing major just sensible changes.
It’s got lost a little bit in the drama of it all but we actually played well at Everton for most of the game, comfortably outplaying them just as we did with Arsenal and Chelsea. Another similar level of performance here should see us pick up a result even with all of our injury troubles.
Mane and Salah are on fire, if we can just get back to a level where we’re conceding an average of 1 per game from now we’ll win most of our games. Let’s hope we start tonight.

The Boss isn’t in a very good mood. His demeanor was very subdued. Gini didn’t hold back either, which for me is very refreshing for these athletes to speak what’s really on their mind.
All that said, I’m fascinated to see what energy level the team play with tonight.
