you hurried reading my comment mate. Thiago’s role was same as Xabi at bayern. Both were players who would dictate the play, when to change the momentum of the game and both offered protection to the defence as well .
However, Thiago is our team is all about someone who can open up the opposition with his balls between the channels mostly. I think we will have Fab there instead to offer protection of the defence.

Ah ha…they will probably release an upgrade of Premium Chants for 39.90
We certainly have a few players who have been off form for a long time or maybe just are not good enough.

Agree, but I take comfort in the fact that a lot of things can theoretically happen in 9 days. It is not an unreasonable idea that more of our key players find form.

I’d like to see Fab stay where he is and partner Virg with Thiago ahead of them. Hard on Joe but he has zero goal threat and has less ability to read the game than Mr Tavares.
