Pitch seems to be lightning quick… Jota has been superb… Salah and Mane very sharp as well. Rhys looks so calm and composed for his age.

I was expecting the typical joyless Italian football but Atalanta are actually pretty entertaining. I can’t see us keeping a clean sheet with Alisson’s butter fingers so we may need another one before we consider subs.
One of the best first halfs this season. I am glad we played to strength, the confidence would actually help going into the City game and adrenaline will overcome tiredness in that game anyway.
Rhys and Joe have been brilliant. Alert, no unnecessary fck ups and confident. Mid three dictating and breaking the game perfectly.
But my oh my Jota. The only player with this level of confidence, effort, inconvenient and finishing everything he’s getting is probably Halaand right now, and this guy looks pretty much the same. Seems to be playing in this team for years.
Klopp seems to have got everything right again. Despite the injuries, the 5th /6th choice CBs are well trained, drilled and trusted to deliver when needed. So happy.

Atalanta are a long way from the typical Italian side - I think the problem they are facing is that they are used to facing teams that are not willing to match their attacking tempo and test their defence. They defend the counter reasonably well, but struggle when the whole side gets in their half.

I think Atalanta have been told to to comply with social distancing. They can’t get anywhere near our lads.
