Bournemouth were very average that half, we just don’t look like we give much of a shit. We have too many players that lack bottle and fans are far too quick to change their opinions on certain players i.e Gakpo and Mac.

Nyoni and Munoz for me. Two half time subs.
Nyoni for Wirtz. He sits and Macca and Szobo play in front of him, changing the midfield to a 1-2.
Munoz for Gakpo. He’s a terrier, and we need a bit of that to spark it to life. Gakpo is having a good season, but I would stick Munoz in there for more bite.
Should have left it at that.
Koumas for Wirtz please. Patience is wearing thin with him.
He’s been around long enough to know this league needs more fight and assertiveness than in the Bundesliga.

I’d probably choose to bring in Koumas in place of Wirtz. We could use the energy, running, chaos he brings on with his pressing… and hopefully Isak can feed off one of the half chances this will create.
Edit: just saw someone else calling for this.
Wirtz needs replacing with Nyoni or Koumas.

Build the team around Wirtz and he might be great but he hasn’t adapted well to the PL. Everything is a bit airy fairy with him. I don’t like criticising players but this set up isnt working and he’s the weak link imo.

Where is the weak link there? On paper our team is better, but it is so fucking disrespectful to call them overrated - an opinion that I think stems from their name rather than their quality.
This is why Platini pissed me off with his comments the other day about English Teams being lions in autumn. Really dickhead? It’s nice for PSG that they don’t have to get legged all over by teams like Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford every fucking week, isn’t it?
A while ago I got mocked for saying that out of the top five leagues there wouldn’t be many premier league teams below the top thirty. But I stand by it.
