Move Salah up top alongside Darwin. Thought we started relly well.
Brentford have two lines of 5 and 4 when out of possession, so difficult to break down. Brentford set pieces causing problems. Need to sort that out.

This is been a game of moments. In the big moments of the game we have either failed to defend well or take our chances.
Brentford have, without ever having to control the game.
Our approach play has been ok but not incisive enough.
Need to bring Robertson and Keita on.

And the guy outside him is not as immediately dangerous. Just like the Watkins goal the issue is defenders picking the wrong option on who to pay attention to. That was Trentās guy (not Konateās already had another guy). Trent, as is his achilies heel, didnt properly identify where the danger really was as so walked away momentarily from the goal scorer to close down a couldnt score directly from the cross.

Teams just figured out how to play us, simple as that. Everytime our FB goes up thereās a gapping hole on the flank, and we get exposed. Even Ali can only do so much with the red cape on.
There has to be a change in method in how we approach teams that simply park the bus and plays the counter. We fall for the same trap everytime.

So thatās it. No Faes to score own goal/s, our 70 mln. pounds striker missing another sitter and every Brentford set piece was a goal situation. It could have been 4 ot more for them. TAA and Elliott are looking more and more like luxury players. They are awful defensively /Trent standing once again, while Wissa scored their 2nd/ and the problem is that they donāt create much offensively either.
Midfield is non existant, but looks like there is no money for transfers and champions league will be a very, very difficult to reach with this squad. As Carragher said, we need 200-250 mln. pounds of investment in the squad. But people prefer to live in their own dream leand, where Harvey is the best young midfielder in the league and OX is good enoug for LFC, and TAA is solid defensively, and our midfield is good enough to steer us in top 4ā¦
Hopefully at least 3 new players at half time - Tsimikas, Ox and Elliott are the prime candidates for me, but Konate, TAA, Thiago, Nunez and Salah are pretty poor too.

Embarrassing no other word for it. Just a good job that Toney isnāt playing. Three corners and one cross and the ball ends up in the back of the net. The whole back line and midfield are just a shambles.
cant expect a thirty something thiago to carry the midfield on two days rest.

Harvey batata Elliot , saw his name on the starting line and it was clear . physical strong side who will run behind you and you play the highest possible line and harvery useless Elliot. its the same every week we are same weaknesses exposed over and over how dumm are we not to learn from our mistakes , monopoly or not if we dont sign 2 midfielders we will finish between 6 and 8th if we are lucky
We really need a #8 that can drive the play down the middle and open up the flanks for Mo and Nunez. At this moment, theyāre just simply being mark out of the game.
